Sam Brehm
Names: Sam Brehm
School: Pine Richland High School
Sport: Wrestling
Sam Brehm won 5 matches in the 2008 WPIAL Individual Tournament to place 3rd at the 135 class. Sam is the first Ram wrestler to Qualify for the PIAA State Tournament since 1995. Brehm made school history by becoming the first AAA wrestler to qualify for the state tournament since the program transitioned from AA to AAA in 1998. We at the P&P Insurance Group want to recognize Sam’s incredible effort at the WPIAL Tournament. After losing his first match, he battled back for 5 straight matches to earn third place and a spot to compete in the strongest high school wrestling tournament in America. This kind of effort says a lot about a young man, and we want Sam to know how proud we are of his effort. Congratulations to the entire wrestling team for a great year!
